Wall Street Journal that was a great video, we could all use some of those tips - thanks for sharing! You mentioned having pain around the neck and this also happens when looking down at our phones. We do recommend getting a mount so you can keep an eye on your notifications at eye sight throughout the day and avoid bending your neck down. It might be that the "monitor at arm's length" is more of an obsolete rule of thumb. The main reason for this recommendation to emerge was to keep displays with physical interfaces close enough to be operated, at least according to this rather old reference: www.humanics-es.com/viewing-distance.htm So it is actually better to put the display way further from you (if possible), from an eye health perspective.

seriously 01:13 ? You saxon are so weird! An "inch" to measure why not, then an arm?? Not everybody has the same arm size! ^^ how "an arm" could be a measure? My advice a 24'' monitor at least a METER away, and zoom-in it's a computer duffo!!!!

Thank you for this video.. I have questions.. Why do most "ergonomic chairs" have head rests so leaned forward??? It's awful!! especially if you have thoracic pain. and causes hunched upper back. Also every chair support pillow is lumbar this lumbar that.....and that i cant find a mid back support pillow for thoracic spine support.

It’s true sitting all day is not good but that’s not the major reason for your back pain sheep. Lack of vitamin D is one of the major causes, food lacking essential minerals like magnesium is another major major reason for back pain try rubbing some magnesium oil on your body and you will see major improvements in reduction of pain( do not take the supplement forms you do not know what else is in those capsules like MSG). Also just because you go to the gym doesn’t mean your healthy another cause of back pain if you are not doing exercises properly.
